A Bespoke service is also offered for clients who require custom designed headwear.
From a vast range of millinery materials and trimmings, Belinda can create a custom made headpiece to suit your style or occasion. Clients are welcome to supply their own material to be incorporated in the design, therefore creating a piece that directly ties in with their ensemble.
Bespoke pieces are made to order and require a “wait to wear” time of approx 3-6 weeks.
First Consultation - Meet & Greet. You will need a meet and greet consultation with Belinda to discuss what it is you are looking for in a custom Peacock Millinery headpiece. It is a good idea to take along any items you would like to match or incorporate in the design. From this initial consult the colour and design will be shown to you in the form of sketches and samples. A $50 non-refundable deposit will be required.
Second Consultation - The Mock Up. A mock up of your design will be made before the final touches are complete. This is where you will see your headpiece take shape and any alterations can take place if required. Please be aware that the price of the headpiece has been quoted based on what was discussed at the first consultation. Any alterations may incur price changes to the quoted price.
Third Consultation - Collection. Your custom Peacock Millinery headpiece will be ready for collection and final payment will be due (the quoted price minus the $50 non-refundable deposit). Belinda will show you how to place and anchor your new headpiece, as well as providing hat care tips for storing your hat.
Beautiful custom headwear can be made for clients who can't make it in for a face to face consult. Pictures can be sent via email and sample pieces of fabric can be posted. Please discuss more about this option with Belinda.
